Piona Bay
Imagine starting in Colico, with the wind caressing your skin, the water of the lake reflecting the blue sky and the breath-taking landscape of the surrounding mountains.
Moving along the Montecchio Sud, you will be able to explore the wild and uninhabited shores, surrounded by uncontaminated nature. The green shores create a magical atmosphere and will make you feel immersed in a pure world.
Piona bay will welcome you with its calm and natural beauty. The clear waters invite you in for a refreshing swim, while the luxuriant vegetation offers a perfect shelter to relax and enjoy the peace.
From the lake, you can see the Piona Abbey, which stands majestically on a promontory. This ancient Cistercian monastery is a place of reflection where history, art and nature blend in a unique atmosphere. The view on the abbey from the lake adds a touch of serenity and spirituality to the landscape.
Travel time: 0:30 minutes one way - 1:00 h. round trip
Church of San Fedelino
From here you can continue with the itinerary, going all the way up the western side of the Lake of Novate Mezzola, until you arrive at a small pier, where you can dock the boat.
On the left side, you can relax on a beach with very fine sand and incredible colours. On foot in about 5 minutes, you can reach the Church of San Fedelino, a gem in a unique landscape, hidden between the mountain and the river Mera, an oasis of calm and a rare example of Romanesque art dating back to the 10th century.

Natural Reserve Pian di Spagna
Our eco-friendly boats are the best way to visit the natural reserve Pian di Spagna, an oasis of biodiversity between lakes and mountains, perfect for hiking and birdwatching.
Going up the river Mera with our boats, you will be able to dive into rushes and water lilies, watching swans, coots and other migratory species.
Immersed in this wonderful, isolated landscape you will enter the Lake of Novate Mezzola, with its emerald-green water and the reflecting mountains.
On the left shore you will arrive at the waterfalls of Val Cavra, visible and accessible only by water, which makes it an exceptional attraction, a place of peace and calm. At the bottom of the waterfalls there is a small pebble beach, accessible by swimming.
This tour is an absolute must especially in summer, when the water levels are higher and the waterfalls are even more fascinating.

To book an electric boat, we require a 50.00€ deposit, to be paid by bank transfer.
Sign your contract
On the day of the rental, you will need an ID document and a credit card (or cash) to make the payment and to place a 400€ security deposit hold.
Briefing
You will receive the navigation rules, all useful information on the tour and practical tips on driving for beginners.

Dopo un contrattempo avvenuto sulla prenotazione Silvia ha risolto tutto in modo esemplare. Abbiamo fatto un giro in barca elettrica di una intera giornata visitando il lago di Mezzola, la riserva del Pian di Spagna e concluso la giornata con un tuffo nel laghetto di Piona. Veramente consigliato!

Sono barche elettriche quindi un pò lente ai riesce ad arrivare alla baia di poi Ha e Tornare con 5 persone sulla barca. Bella esperienza comunque sono ailenziosissime. Non costano peraltro molto rispetto a gommoni tradizionali.

Per chi ama il lago e ne sa apprezzare la quiete, sono due le opzioni: navigare a remi, oppure noleggiare una barca elettrica... esperienza da provare!
